With the Dons in London on Saturday to face Fulham in a closed-doors friendly, Jimmy Thelin picked up a handy addition en-route back to the North-East of Scotland in the form of Alfie Dorrington who returns to the Club on a season-long loan from Tottenham Hotspur.
The 20 year-old originally arrived at Pittodrie during a January transfer window at a time when the men in red were fighting to ensure that a season that had started so brightly was not entirely derailed. Dorrington, fresh off a brief debut for the Spurs’ first team, arrived as a young player of great potential, well-regarded within the Tottenham youth setup but one who needed to get game-time outside the confines of the U23 Premier League.
